Our weekly "Bagel Bites" class. Perfect for our younger students, or those just starting out on their culinary journey with Mother Dough! This fun, closely supervised class helps students practice and develop their cookery skills. Chefs in this class use safety equipment, such as plastic knives, and learn skills that are age-and-stage appropriate. This allows them to learn in as safe an environment as possible, whilst still allowing them the opportunity to progress and build confidence in their skills.

When purchasing "Single Sessions" please book by 12pm the  Friday before, to be included for that Saturday's class.

- Our young chefs focus on specific elements of, and skills related to, the weekly dish
- A range of dishes from simpler skills-based weeks, to more ambitious dishes with the “Wow!” factor
- In-class student competitions
- With regular attendance chefs work towards a bronze, silver or gold certificate
- Students gain access to a weekly recipe for use at home. Over time they’ll build a cook book of their very own, with the relevant skills to match
- Chefs take home what they make!

Our “Bread Sticks" class is for our teenage chef brigade! Students in this class have, or with support quickly learn, many basic foundational skills. This is a great class for older chefs that want to build their confidence in the kitchen, becoming more independent young adults. Wether helping out with dinner at home or going to university with a few solid recipes under their belt, this class makes the most of our chef tutor’s professional insight, to stretch potential. A class that both supports and challenges the older chef on their culinary journey.

When purchasing "Single Sessions" please book by 12pm the  Friday before, to be included for that Saturday's class.

- Teenage chefs work more indepedently, sometimes adding extra elements to our weekly dish or learning more advanced techniques not suitable for younger classes
- Every term has it's own theme with varied, seasonal recipes. Each week is different!
- A range of dishes from simpler skills-based weeks, to more ambitious dishes with the “Wow!” factor
- With regular attendance chefs work towards a bronze, silver or gold certificate
- Students gain access to a weekly recipe for use at home. Over time they’ll build a cook book of their very own, with the relevant skills to match
- Chefs take home what they make!

Our weekly Liverpool based “Bread Sticks" class (11-17 Years)

This four week baking course is PERFECT for anybody wanting to "have a go" and start out on their culinary journey with Mother Dough. The class is of mixed age and ability, so wether you're a young chef aged 7 and up, an adult wanting to learn, or a grown up wishing to cook with their child, come and join us! 

The class is held on **Tuesday evenings**, downstairs in a comfortable, private function area at **Kabin @ Kabannas**. This bar and eatery on the edge of Mathew Street is known for it's quieter weekday evenings and relaxed atmosphere, providing us a cozy class environment in the centre of town .

**Please note there are 3 ticket types for this event!** 

**Child Ticket**: For a child baker, cooking with their own portion of ingredients

**Adult Ticket**: For an adult baker, cooking with their own portion of ingredients

**Adult "Participant" Ticket**: For an adult joining a chef with a child's ticket, to support and take part but who does **NOT** want a portion of ingredients of their own.

*If you would like a portion of ingredients for both yourself and your young chef when cooking together, you will need to purchase 2 full price tickets.

Over 4 consecutive weeks, we'll be tackling the following bakes:

- 22/04 - Blueberry Muffins
- 29/04 - Seeded Mini Loaves
- 06/05 - Lemon Cheesecake
- 13/05 - Red Velvet Cake

Each recipe will be completed in class, then be taken home to bake, so don't forget to bring a container to transport your delicious dish home!  (Full cooking instructions will be provided.)

We'll supply all the ingredients and equipment that you'll need, guide you step-by-step throughout the session and send you an e-recipe for future use at home after the session.

Chefs in this class are looking to practice their foundational skills and progress further, learning about the week’s dish in an extended or deeper way. They also work more independently to help build their confidence in the kitchen.

- Older chefs refine their basic skills, learning more advanced or complex techniques
- A range of dishes from simpler skills-based weeks, to more ambitious dishes

My step daughter has been attending Saturday morning cooking classes for the last couple of weeks. She has always wanted to be a chef and we wanted somewhere where she could have fun but also have the opportunity to learn some real serious skills to support her if this interest continued beyond childhood. She thoroughly enjoys going and is so excited every Friday night. The children are really welcoming and spoke to her when she was feeling a little shy. We get an email of recipes which is great for us to recreate at home!
